The Vast Wonders of Television

I spend a bit of my time surfing from channel to channel hoping something interesting is on. It is something i have come to enjoy (once i have found a show i want to watch). i dont watch tv 24/7 like a lot of people do because i only enjoy a handfull of shows as well as one or two channels by themselves.

Scrubs; NBC, The show about a chaotic, comedic hospital where everything never seems to go right for Dorian, Elliot and Turk. In the show no character is overshadowed, while at the same time the "evil" characters of The Janitor (out to get Dorian), Dr. Cox (out to get Elliot), and Carla(Turk's fiance who is always on his back) and with the one who is out to get them all - Dr. Kelso. Catch Scrubs on NBC at 8:30/7:30c on Thursdays.

Law & Order; NBC, The show that helped start it all. Before SVU and Criminal intent, before 3rd Watch, NYPD Blue and all other cop shows there was Law & Order. Set in the heart of New York City, the show proves that the system does work. While two police Detectives investigate the crime, the District Attorneys prosecute the violaters. The show has been on the air for 13 seasons and is set to air till at least the 2005 season. Watch the cases from start to finish every wednesday night on NBC at 10/9c

The Simpsons; FOX, The zany show that broke all borders and along with married with children helped get FOX on its feet as a national station. Along with married with children, it is one of the most watched FOX shows of all time. Check it out every Sunday at 8/7c

Malcolm in the Middle; FOX, The show about life as a middle class family. Sticking true to its name, Malcolm does get caught in the middle of everything, from friends with problems to family issues. Join Malcolm with his friends and family as they struggle with everyday problems in everyday life at 8:30/7:30c on FOX

King of the Hill; FOX, the show about a small Texas family in the town of Arlen, Texas that really ties down with good old fashioned family values. Think FOX would make a show about family values? First introduced in Beavis and Butthead do America, the writers believe they should give King of the Hill its own show. From the writers and animators of Beavis and Butthead do America, comes the revolutionary show that fits into fox's description of the average family (just like the Bundy's but with a texan twist!). Watch the strange advetures of Hank, Dale, Boomhower, and Bill as well as Bobby and Peggy ever Sunday at 7:30/6:30c on FOX.

Family Guy; FOX, another in FOX's long list of disfunctional family shows. Constantly taken off the air and put back on, Family Guy is a great show. Since its pilot, the viewer and fanbase das drastically increased every episode, even out doing the Presidents Union Address. Join the Griffins in their strange, extrodinary adventures - temporarily off air.
