Their next destination is the Palladium.

Lucy is excited as they are at another place on her sight-seeing list. She is about to get out when Tony advises her that they cannot go in because it is to early for a show, however, he knows another place:

"
London's own Scala Theatre!"

The next scene shows them inside The Scala Theatre. They go onto the stage and after looking around Lucy sits down as Tony begins to sing.
The Scala Theatre closed in 1969 and was demolished in 1972. On the site now are some serviced apartments. For more information on staying here follow this link.
Song: One Day In London.
One day in London,
A miracle happened,
The way things in story books do.

Fine day in London,
The day that it happened,
And skies in London, seldom are blue.

Which goes to show that this was something different,
This was something special,
This was something new.

It isn't often,
That miracles happen,
How happy that mine should happen with you.

Isn't it funny what one day in London can do?

One day in London with you.
Tony then goes on to sing a medly of songs, including:

This Dream,
Gonna Build A Mountain,
Once In A Life Time,
Look At That Face,

These are taken from play "The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd."

While he is singing, occasional shots of Lucy dressed up as theatre patrons, i.e. the orchestra leader, a member of the audience, the queen etc., are shown.
That's how it happened,
It actually happened,
Which proves that fairy tales can come true.

Isn't it funny, what one day in London can do?

Isn't it funny, what one day in London can do?
Lucy returns to the stage and, in an outfit similar to her Freddie the Freeloader outfit (from The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour, guest starring Red Skelton), performs a mime routine. She then sits on the stage and begins to sing.
One day in London,
A miracle happened,
The way that things in story books do.

It isn't often,
That miracles happen,
How happy that mine should happen with you.

Isn't it funny, what one day in London can do?
Just ONE day!
Driving through the streets of London at night, Lucy and Tony sing the final few words as the closing credits begin.
Lucy: How can I thank you, what can I do?

Tony:
You honour me too much, Madame, I should be thanking you!
