The pair pull over at the side of the road and Lucy pleads with Tony to take her to see something on her list. He responds by taking the list, adding a place at the bottom and gives it back to her. Lucy takes a look and says:

"Great Fosters! What's Great Fosters?"

Tony:
"It's an old English country home of the Tudor period."

Lucy:
"Well, it's on my list! Let's go."

Arriving at Great Fosters, Lucy reads a notice advising of a Shakespearean festival taking place at the theatre within the grounds.

Tony learns that Lucy has run out of camera film, so leaves her to explore the grounds while he goes to buy some more film.

Wondering around the grounds, Lucy is startled when the 'gardener' jumps up from behind a hedge. As they talk, she comments on his speech and how he is too talented to remain a gardener. At this point he reveals he is, in fact, Peter Wyngarde! He invites her to join him in a rehearsal of "The Taming of the Shrew" that will be taking place that afternoon. While dressing for her part, she is advised that all she has to say is "Never" each time a question is asked."

As they act out the play, Lucy's character is shouted at, thrown about and has a whip cracked very close to her...
Peter: "Good work Lucy, You're really getting it!"

Lucy: "I sure am!"

As the play continues, Lucy becomes more and more fearful until she can take no more and makes her escape by running through the grounds of Great Fosters shouting:

"
Never! Never! Never! Never! Never!"

Running out into the car park and finding Tony has arrived back, Lucy jumps into the side car and they race off.
