This means you should have your materials out, your pencil sharpened, and be started on your Warm-Up. (See Consequences) Absences: * It is YOUR responsibility to find out what you missed when you were absent. You will need to go to the "Homework Box" where the assignments are listed along with the Warm-Ups. Any worksheets or notes will be in the box for you. When you turn in your papers, please write the word "Absent" at the top. * You will have twice the numer of days to make up your work as the number of days you were absent. Assignments and Home Notices: * Assignments are collected when they are complete. There is no set schedule for collecting papers other than warm-ups that are due each Friday. Always come prepared for class. * I DO NOT ACCEPT LATE WORK! (unless a late pass is attached) * I believe that every parent should know how his or her child is performing academically in science. Regularly I will send home a progress report. I call these "parent signature pages" and therefore require a parent signature. They must be returned back to me the next day. Students with D's and F's that do not return these grade sheets to me the next day will be calling home during class time. |
