Ok your asking, why the hell did I do this costume? Why? WHY!? Cause it's Harry Potter damn it! Harry Potter is one of the best things in the world right now besides my cat. Well we started out with the idea to do the four houses but it ended up both of us doing Ravenclaw because blue and white/silver ties are easier to find and this was the result. They were pretty much our first costumes we sewed and were ok for a first attempt at sewing. Gonna make new robes for the Azkaban premier cause they have nicer looking robes in the new pictures. Lyndzi Well, what can I say. It's Harry Potter. I'm just that obsessed. |

Who doesn't? and finding blue stuff is so much easier than the rest of the houses Tasks: Besides buying everything all I had to make was the robe, and paint the tie. As for buying the stuff, Value Village is my friend. Favorite Aspect: I found pretty much the exact skirt and i didn't have to try and make it. Least Favorite Aspect: How big the over sweater is. It was the closest thing I could find though Easiest Task: Buying the stuff Hardest Task: Making the robes and tryig to finish them at 9 am in the morning for school that day Lyndzi Character Name: Ravenclaw Student (Padma Patil?) Tasks: Robes, Shirt, Skirt, Undershirt, Socks, Shoes, Tie Favorite Aspect: The robes are poofy and swirly. Plus when you wear them you feel like you actually go to Hogwarts. It's very cool Least Favorite Aspect: The Ravenclaw crest was done with iron-on transfer paper, and looks really bad. Plus my skirt and sweater aren't exact, but it was close enough. Easiest Task: Buying the sweater, tie, skirt and undershirt at Value Village. And the socks at Zellers. Hardest Task: The robes. They were the only thing I actually had to make. |
