After problems with the council at Eisligarde, we have decided to move off-world to Naboo, where we will be taking up residence at Central Dogma. Our new home will be much more active with Imperial events and such, and we will be able to play a key part in the defense of it's bases.We have always held good relations with Central Dogma, and I look forward to making our final move over there on Saturday. We had some good memories at Eisligarde, especially when it was run by Shodi Kahn, but our time has come to move elsewhere. I guarantee this will be a good move, as we will be entering a town which welcomes us with open arms, rather than distrusts us without good cause. More news after the move...
Combat Upgrade Released 02 May 2005
The Combat Upgrade was released a few days ago, and despite seeming a little strange at first, many have given it a chance and found it to work just fine. With this upgrade, many have been able to change professions and head in a new, more exciting direction.
We have disbanded the Platoons for now, in favour of a more flexible system where squads are formed for the purpose of a particular mission at any given time. I hope you will all give the CU a fair chance, as I have found it to work well, as have many others.
New Squads/Platoons Up And Running 08 March 2005
Our new system is up and running, with the squad leaders and some 2iC's already firmly in place. There are still some vacant 2iC positions, as well as slots for standard troopers. If you'd like to be in a particular squad, mail Jennie or the squad leader in question. On 1st April, all squads will be fully assigned with troopers.
Changes to Gamma Company 31 Jan 2005
Gamma Company will be re-organising soon with changes to our structure and rank system. We now have over 60 members, so it's time to be thinking about a long term plan for Gamma. We will be organising 3 platoons, each led by experienced officers and sergeants, and each operating a specialist squad as well as two standard squads. For a diagram, click here. This is in light of our growing number, as well as the proposed release of new armor to some of our troopers. There will be more info sent to you in a guild mail soon. Also, effective 1st Febuary 2005, all new recruits will start at a new rank, Recruit, and work their way up to Private First Class.
Lord Vader Attends Fashion Show! Praises Gamma Company! 12 Jan 2005
Guests at the Central Dogma Fashion Show were stunned when Guest of Honor Lord Vader turned up to address the audience. He welcomed the new COMPNOR (Bria Sector) alliance of which Gamma Company is now a part and expects the very best of its various Imperial organisations. He also personally addressed me, stating that Gamma Company was doing an exceptional job for the Empire! Well, who am I to argue with Lord Vader?!!!

It has been an eventful first year for Gamma Company, with much progress being made. In the new year, more of the same kind of positive progress is assured, with several dedicated Troopers already having received promotion. As our unit grows (42 members now!) the need to promote people increases, and fortunately we are blessed with a plentiful supply of hard working Troopers! Events are sure to continue and become more frequent, including special occasions at Central Dogma, Snakesoul's random and planned Space Missions, and of course our regular trips to Lok for faction farming. You will of course also be seeing trips to various parts of the galaxy undertaking quests and theme parks.
Captain Roe Receives Flight Papers (OOC: UK's Jump To Lightspeed is released... FINALLY!) Nov 2004
My pilot's status has been approved! Finally I can take to space! As soon as I get my pass on Friday, I will be able to assist in space missions and combat. I will, however, remain mainly ground based as I am a dedicated Stormtrooper! I should also be receiving a Sorosuub luxury cruiser, so those of you that also have been granted their space qualifications can join me on my yacht for a sightseeing ride!
Tirulian Soon to Return! 10 Nov 2004
Lt Tirulian Darkwalker, company 2iC, has just contacted me to let me know that he is fine, and will be returning to active duty soon. He may occasionally appear for brief duties before he has officially returned. Another Trooper, Staff Sergeant Mihoshii Kuramitsu, has informed me that she too will be returning, probably within a week.
Planned Company Move 08 Nov 2004
Our move to an existing city is expected to take place 2-3 weeks from now. As RUnit prepare to pack their bags for Central Dogma, Naboo, the question remains as to whether we too should move off-world. We are currently trying to contact the mayor of Eisligarde, Tatooine, to ask for permission to move there. Gamma has been on Tatooine for 4-5 months now, after a brief period of time on Naboo, as part of Allegiance guild. There will be a vote taking place, open to all Company members old and new, as to whether we should choose Eisligarde or Central Dogma. I can only advise that each of you check out both cities and ask yourself 'where would Gamma Company fit in best?' No move will take place until I have received a majority vote for one of the two potential cities.

The weekend just passed has seen record membership applications, as we signed 9 members over Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is a testiment to the hard work and of the character of our existing members that this kind of recruitment can take place. The best kind of recruit we can hope for, will be like those we already have; friendly, reliable, enthusiastic and above all a good team-player. This weekend has seen many such recruits arrive, most notably an old face who has returned to his senses! None other than Private Tomon Hursten! Welcome back!
