Armor
Armor does not MAKE a good Stormtrooper but it will certainly PROTECT a good Stormtrooper! Acquiring your full set of armor will be your main task upon joining Gamma Company.

The time it takes for you to collect your set of armor is known as the Training Phase. This can take days or months. Mine took 3 weeks, starting from scratch, doing a few hours every few days. By the end of it I was a Novice Carbineer and a proficient medic. You can train alone or with fellow recruits, and the latter is preferable as it improves teamwork, plus will give great xp to medics in your group. The other benefit for collecting your armor is your guild rank. By completing the set you will earn promotion to Private First Calss, and will have the ability to earn further promotion into the command ranks.

Stormtrooper, Shock Trooper and Scout Trooper armor are all valid equipment in our unit. (Clone Trooper armor is NOT.) Below I will explain the benefits and weaknesses of our armor, the amount of armor that different species can wear (as we are a multi-species unit).
BENEFITS
Stormtrooper armor used to be looked on as below average by many people, including those that used it daily. That is a thing of the past now, and Stormtroopers of all classes are just as formidable as they should be.

Especially after the Combat Upgrade, Stormtrooper Armor is now on par with Composite armor types. Of course, as the armor is crafted, you should always verify the armor is of suitable quality before buying or bio-linking. (Bio-linking ensures that only you can wear that suit of armor, but costs Faction Points when you do so. Stormtrooper Armor, Shock Armor and Scout Trooper Armor cannot be equipped without bio-linking.) It costs around 1000FP to bio-link the larger parts (head chest and pants) and about 800FP for the other parts (including the belt). There is now no faction penalty for non-humans. If you have the armor, but not the FP, you should consider purchasing FP from a Master Smuggler (also must be an Imperial Colonel) which usually costs in the region of 100cr per FP.

Our armor comes in varying qualities and prices, so shop around and get the best deal you can find.
SPECIES
Human and Zabrak: These are the most common species for Stormtroopers, as they can wear the full suit. The helmet is designed for the human head, and Zabrak are able to wear this without difficulty, no matter how spiky their heads may be!

Twi-lek, Rodian and Bothan: These can wear all parts apart from the helmet, for obvious reasons!

Trandoshan: Can wear all parts apart from Helmet, Boots and Gloves, which will save some time grinding out Faction Points!

Ithorians: Ithorians CANNOT wear any Stormtrooper armor, but may operate our TIE fighters.

Wookies: Wookies CANNOT wear any Stormtrooper armor but may operate our TIE fighters.

We welcome all non-human applicants and hope to have many in our Company!

Armor can now be purchased from Imperial Armorsmiths.
