Struggle not to survive ... Struggle to Achieve!

Happy Valentine's Day 2005

Most anything you would like to know about me is within this website. I am considering exchanging e-mails every two weeks once again with friends. Stories, personal stuff, and some humor, sometimes a picture ... just a warm friendly, light e-mail to hopefully brighten the day. Hopefully the friend will send something similar back within two weeks. Changes within these pages will be ongoing ... some things taken out perhaps, some things added. I hope you find our friendship something that continually will add to our lives together ... across the land of cold wires and hot chips. God bless us indeed (short modification of the prayer of Jabez).

"It is time to put a cork in drunk driving"

For at least the repeat offenders perhaps? Why not allow a police officer to take away someone's license if suspected of driving while drinking? Why not allow a judge to revoke a license upon conviction? Why not make it law that you need a valid license or proper ID to purchase alcohol? If you needed a valid license or ID to purchase or consume alcohol ... it would be difficult for you to have a lapse of judgment, and without a license, get alcohol, then once drunk and not thinking at all, get behind your vehicle and harm someone, perhaps even yourself. I believe it is fair to penalize someone who violates law and safety one time, that they need to take classes and have a "rest" time before they can self-destruct once again. Why not?

We have orange cards for minors ... some states print the licenses a bit different for minors ... why not have a separate card for someone who violates and until their "restricted" time has expired, that they have a "restricted" card to help them help themselves, which helps protect not only themselves, but many innocent others. Please discuss this idea since by discussion you may come up with an even better idea and make my day brighter.

October 31, 2004

I enjoy my Sunday afternoons I get once every two weeks to watch football and work on e-mails, letters to send out (yes, snail mail ... which will be the aoove license proposal to every state legislator after the election ... probably into the new year), and like today ... working on the website.

There is a lot of junk e-mail being blocked but it seems greeting cards from Yahoo always get through. You may also try an e-mail to [email protected] if you are having problems. I would also suggest sending with my name "Wayne" in the title since I did find an e-mail in the junk which usually came through okay. At least when I sort though junk mail once a month I might see it. As you send I will try and reply, usually on my Sunday afternoon every two weeks.

I do ask one HUGE favor. PLEASE DO NOT send me forwarded e-mails if you can avoid it. I find forwarded e-mails so annoying. I know sometimes there is no other way and sometimes there are some REALLY SPECIAL ones I have loved receiving. All I am asking my friend is that you will keep these thoughts in mind if ever sending a forwarded type of e-mail.

Why e-mail?
The internet is an interesting place. Very easy to use and to find friends and to become found. The internet also adapts to my changing time schedules and life. It allows me and you to share what we feel like sharing, to develop our friendship at the speed WE are comfortable with :)

I simply desire to be your friend. I have a few friends who share jokes and humorous stories with me. When I find something pretty amusing or unique, I plan to put it under current jokes. Sharing pictures as WE are comfortable in doing, and most always AFTER a few e-mails exchanged. I am not a catch "per se" and I am honestly letting you know this. No millionaire bachelor here :(

Finally, what are my hopes and dreams with all of this I am doing within the internet?
1) Sharing as I have said all along. I have learned of many nice, and perhaps not-so-nice, aspects of myself, females, faith, life and friendships.
2) Adding flavor to life. I know how special it is to get an e-mail, even if only a simple word, sentence or more. A picture is the NICEST of surprises, especially those with a nice warm smile attached. I think you would agree with me on this.
3) Adventure. It is always exciting to meet someone new and learn new things. It is very comfortable to receive an e-mail from a long-time friend. It is special to receive an e-mail surprise from someone who has "lost touch", only to find out they still think of me at times and I am a part of their life.
4) Warmth. Knowing I have several people who have come to know me and like me for me ... how special is this? Let me tell you, it feels VERY VERY SPECIAL :)
5) Growth. In all of the above qualities of friendships and sharing, they add to OUR growth. All of us feel more alive, we learn, we love more (I believe), and as we reach out and as we share, we ALL receive huge rewards in return.

I have the following seven hotlinks:

Current Jokes
Unique to me or plain make me laugh type jokes with the most current put first. I may put humorous things that have happened to me here. So if it has been a while and you check this part of the website, just keep reading until it gets familar :)

Cake Test
A nice goofy/silly test I hope you will take and send me the results.

Stories
This is where I plan to post all my stories of my life I write for sharing with you and all my friends. I will announce at the top of this page if I have a new story and may even type in its address for easier finding.

Poems
I am not much for writing poetry except by encouragement and sometimes a lot of help by my friend(s). I also will announce at the top of this index page when I have something new added.

Jokes
Jokes people have sent me which I found very amusing. Many of these I will have sent to friends in an e-mail. The select few are posted here and please let me know what you think of them. The "cream of the crop" I plan to have here.

21 questions minus 1
If you wish to have a mysterious goofy male friend DO NOT peek in here. Most all questions I have ever been asked I have grouped down to 20 and put here. I would very much appreciate an e-mail from you with your answers to the same questions I answer here.

Very Personal and Private
You really should not look here if we are only to remain simple e-mail friends. Really.

Speaking of faith. I live by a credo "DO NOT JUDGE". Please do not judge me as I do not judge you. I LOVE to read all your ideas about faith ... whatever you believe or do not believe, and I have no problem sharing mine if you wish. Asking questions, especially challenging ones, I enjoy. It expands OUR minds. If this life is all there is to life, does that make any sense of purpose? I believe our purpose is to seek until we find, knock until the doors are opened, and to grow in mind, spirit and body all along the way. During a recent road trip I came to know more of medicine men/women and healers at a chat meet near Plymouth Rock.

I offer friendship ... it is as simple as this. How shallow or deep it becomes rests on you and me. I try and live our friendship by this motto - "As you lead, I shall try and follow" (best view in my opinion anyway as I love the mesmerizing effect the wiggle seems to have over me).

As I have said many times ... I am very easy to dismiss. Just stop sending e-mails (or do not send any at all). As a newer friend that would stop my sending you e-mails very soon. With a more established friend, I would make at least one or more attempts just in case it was your e-mail messing up.

It is with sincerity of love for you as a person, even if we have not met jointly, that I desire the best for you. I hope your days build upon the previous ones as you grow, as WE grow, together or separately. I hope you enjoy the frivolity of the cake test and perhaps the story of Grandma's cookstove or the poem(s). Perhaps one or more of these may add a light moment to your day. That would bring to me a smile to my face and a warmth to my heart.

May we be kept within the true spirit of love forever and may we always be able to share this perfect love with others, lightening our burdens perhaps as "many hands (and hearts) make light work :)

Wrap (invest) yourselves within love,
YOUR goofy male friend,
Wayne (Loveinvest)
