07/08/89 Bleach Out! Break Out! Record Label: Small Clone Total CD Time: 49:29 (13 tracks) Matrix: SC-NR-005 Comments: Excellent 1989 era show and one of only two commercially released performances with Jason Everman! The recording features extremely clear sound quality, a couple of jams and a semi-rare performance of Mr. Moustache. It sounds like an audience recording but there is little to no interferance from people talking or applauding. The club almost sounds empty. Tracklist: School / Floyd The Barber / Love Buzz / Mr. Moustache / Paper Cuts / Polly / Big Cheese / Spank Thru / Dive / About A Girl / Scoff / Negative Creep / Blew |

| 07/13/89 Hobkan 1989 Record Label: Cracker Total CD Time: 39:11 (11 tracks) Matrix: PB5107 Comments: This is a somewhat average audience recording. The vocals are a little drowned out, but not to the point where it really effects the listening quality of the show. This disc can be difficult to find and is one of only two releases that contain Jason Everman playing as a second guitarist. Tracklist: School / Floyd The Barber / Love Buzz / About A Girl / Scoff / Spank Thru / Big Cheese / Polly / Paper Cuts / Negative Creep / Blew |

10/25/89 & 11/25/91 Where Were You In '89? Record Label: Deep Records Total CD Time: 63:20 (18 tracks) Matrix: MCM ICP A 247 7 Comments: "Where Were You In '89?" contains a superb audience recording that is very clear and consistent (occasional talk). This is an excellent disc for people who love the early Bleach shows. The set list is almost identical to the 10-29-89 show that can be found on "Wired." The Paradiso track (13-18) are a good filler. Tracklist: School / Scoff / Love Buzz / Floyd The Barber / Dive / Polly / Big Cheese / Spank Thru / About A Girl / Token Eastern Song / Negative Creep / Blew / Drain You / Aneurysm / School / Been A Son / Negative Creep / Smells Like Teen Spirit |

| 10/25/89 Blew Record Label: Grapefruit Productions Total CD Time: 55:31 (18 tracks) Matrix: GRA-004-C *1178* Comments: An average audience recording. The 'filler' tracks after the show are overdubbed with crowd noise. Tracklist: School / Scoff / Love Buzz / Floyd The Barber / Dive / Polly / Big Cheese / Spank Thru / About A Girl / Negative Creep / Blew / Love Buzz / Son Of A Gun / Turnaround / D-7 / Molly's Lips / In Bloom / Stay Away |

10/29/89 & 12/03/89 Wired Record Label: Seattle Sounds Total CD Time: 72:00 (21 tracks) Matrix: SSCD002 Comments: "Wired" contains an a pair of above-average Bleach era recordings. Both performances are incomplete. "Wired" is the only commercially available disc with the 12/3/89 show. The 10/29/89 show is the more complete of the two dates on the disc. The highlight is a fantastic "Token Eastern Song." During "Mr. Moustache" Kurt's guitar goes out, prompting Krist to finish the song by screaming the lyrics while he and Chad jam. The band is in good form and spirits. Kurt actually laughs (a rarity) just before they close the set with "Blew." Trackist: Scoff / Love Buzz / Floyd The Barber / Dive / Polly / Big Cheese / Spank Thru / About A Girl / Token Eastern Song / Mr. Moustache / Negative Creep / Blew / Dive / Big Cheese / Polly / Spank thru / About A girl / Imodium / Molly's Lips / Sappy / Blew |

| 10/29/89 Over The Rainbow Record Label: Hurricane Total CD Time: 70:24 (19 tracks) Matrix: HURR 53 Comments: This is a good show. The disc is missing the 1st track, 'School,' and the 'Stain' jam, but includes a godd version of 'Token Eastern Song.' There are various live tracks as a filler. Tracklist: Scoff / Love Buzz / Floyd The Barber / Dive / Polly / Big Cheese / Spank Thru / About A Girl / Token Eastern Song / Mr. Moustache / Negative Creep / Blew / Sappy / Breed / Been A Son / Help Me, I'm Hungry / Aneurysm / School / Smells Like Teen Spirit |

| 11/10/89 Forum 89 Record Label: Stenor Total CD Time: 43:04 (15 tracks) Matrix: DIGIP.91.006 Comments: This is a good show, but the disc was edited heavily between tracks, so there's really no talking between songs. There is no crowd noise, either. There are mastering errors on tracks 7, 11, and 13 where the sound drops out for a second early in the song. "Negative Creep" is cut in the beginning of the song. Tracklist: School / Scoff / Love Buzz / Floyd The Barber / Dive / Polly / Big Cheese / About A Girl / Spank Thru / Mr. Moustache / Breed / Been A Son / Negative Creep / Stain / Blew |

| 11/18/89 Mr. Kurdt Kobain Record Label: TUBE Total CD Time: 49:11 (13 tracks) Matrix: 4121 TVCD006 Comments: The show starts out with the infamous screaming intro, similar to the Wishkah album. Dive, which Kurt says "is new," has alternate lyrics... he probably forgot them or was screwing around... they had been playing the song for a while at this point. Krist helps sing towards the end of Big Cheese, which usually signifies equipment trouble. Kurt later thanks the German audience with a gracious "Donkey Show." "Mr. Moustache" wasn't played very often, and is a nice feature on the disc and "About a Girl" is played with more distortion than usual. The setlist is very typical with exception of "Molly's Lips" - everything else that is played was a staple of this time period and was played at virtually every show. Tracklist: School / Scoff / Love Buzz / Floyd The Barber / Dive / Big Cheese / Molly's Lips / Spank Thru / About A Girl / Mr. Moustache / Imodium / Negative Creep / Blew |

11/22/89 & 02/12/90 Play the Fucking Guitar, Man!! Record Label: Scarface Total CD Time: 73:47 (19 tracks) Matrix: SCR006 Comments: This is what a live show is all about... You can tell the band was having a good time at this show. The setlist was typical (except for the encore), however the most unique thing about the show is a drunk guy that screams at the band throughout their performance. You hear this guy with a German accent screaming "PLAY ABOUT FUCKING GIRLS!!!!"... "TUNE YOUR FUCKING GUITAR AND PLAY ABOUT FUCKING GIRLS, MAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!"... Krist has a good time with him and yells back several times during the show and at one point sings some lines from The Who's "I'm a Boy" and dedicates it to the heckler. The entire show is wild and full of energy. "Help me" is played as an encore, and is the best known recording of the song. You can hear some kind of sound repeating in the background when the band breaks between songs... I think it's soundclips of Arnold Schwarzenegger , there must be a reason, because the repeating sounds can be heard during other 1989 European shows. Tracklist: Scoff / Love Buzz / Floyd The Barber / Dive / About A Girl / Spank Thru / Big Cheese / Sappy / Imodium / Been A Son / Negative Creep / Blew / Help Me, I'm Hungry / School / About A Girl / Polly / Molly's Lips / Sappy / Stain |

11/26/89 In the Bloom 1990 Tour Record Label: Love & Money Total CD Time: 56:36 (15 tracks) Matrix: L&M 01 PHC Comments: "In the Bloom" is a clear soundboard recording and contains a nice set list (Paper Cuts and Sappy are played). The disc is very solid in all aspects (complete show). Except for Kurt's sickly intro, the band seems to play well even though this was the tail end of a grueling tour. Kurt starts the show with his "screaming "intro", like the one on the Wishkah album - except he has to stop to cough. After the first song of Nirvana's set, Chad's (Chad Channing is the drummer) snare drum breaks and Kurt and Krist perform an impromptu Led Zeppelin cover (Dazed and Confused). Krist slaughters the vocals (similar to his singing before Territorial Pissings). The rest of the show is good, and Nirvana's performance is complete and unedited. Tracklist: Intro / School / Jam / Scoff / Love Buzz / Floyd The Barber / Dive / Sappy / Big Cheese / Spank Thru / About A Girl / Breed / Paper Cuts / Been A Son / Negative Creep / Blew |

Tracklist: Intro / School / Jam / Scoff / Love Buzz / Floyd The Barber / Dive / Sappy / Big Cheese / Spank Thru / About A Girl / Breed / Paper Cuts / Been A Son / Negative Creep / Blew |

11/27/89 Piper 1989 Record Label: On Stage (ON/CD 2341) Total CD Time: 39:47 (10 tracks) Matrix: F.DISC ONCD 2341 1439-B Comments: "Piper 1989" contains the infamous show where Kurt has a nervous breakdown on stage and threatens to jump off of a speaker cabinate. The sound quality is an average audience recording. The show is typical of an '89 European show and includes the technical problems that plagued the band throughout this tour. Kurt's guitar loses sound, and Krist and Chad entertain the crowd with noise jams. Kut becomes unraveled when he sings the wrong lyrics on "Spank Thru" and stops playing in the middle of the song. You can hear the crowd cry "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh" together, and then the recording stops. Tracklist: School / Scoff / Love Buzz / Floyd The Barber / Dive / Polly / Big Cheese / About A Girl / Breed / Spank Thru |
