Which politicians favour incineration?
FIANNA FAIL = INCINERATION
In the 1970s, Fianna Fail tried to introduce a nuclear power plant into Ireland, in Carnsore Point in County Wexford.
Thankfully, they did not succeed.
Now, Fianna Fail's official policy is to introduce incineration into Ireland. At all local authority votes concerned with
the introduction of incineration in County Louth, the majority of Fianna Fail County Councillors voted in favour
of introducing incineration to the County.
It must be noted that certain Fianna Fail councillors voted against incineration and they are to be commended for voting
against their party in this matter.
If you are uncertain how your local Fianna Fail councillor voted on incineration and how he/she intends to vote in any future
vote on the issue, contact him/her and find out. If he/she is in favour of incineration, we urge you not to vote for him/her.
In this case, we would also urge you to use your vote to support the anti-incineration movement by voting for a candidate who does
oppose incineration.
Now that the local elections are approaching, the Louth electorate are in a position to vote those who favour incineration
out of power. If we elect people who will build an incinerator in County Louth, then we are responsible for the consequences.
