What Are The LPAI Doing Today?

We are still opposed to Incineration in Meath, the North East counties and in County Louth in particular. We continue to issue press statements in Local and National papers extolling the merits and benefits of waste recycling. We continue to support our colleagues in other parts of Ireland in opposing Incineration and landfill - such as those opposing Kentstown Dump

As no incinerator is presently planned in Louth we are presently working to promote the goals of Zero Waste in Ireland.

To this end we are:

What you can do

If you value your health, it is imperative that you lobby the election candidates during the forthcoming local authority election campaign. The LPAI will continue with a vigorous campaign against the imposition of Incineration, in any of its guises, by every democratic and legal means, and will continue to promote the goal of "zero waste".

If a candidate in favour of Incineration, don't give him/her your vote.

Give your vote to someone who opposes Incineration. This is a language all politicans understand!
