History of Tempest
The Laws and Policy of Tempest

The secret scrolls found hidden in the council chambers revealed the power of the spells that had entrapped them.   In reflection, their actions were manipulated by the force  of the magic.
Time and circumstance may cause history to look upon these former leaders with reflection and understanding.
Someday perhaps...the devestation of the secret scrolls can be revealed.
I recall the look of pain and anguish on my father's face as he stood watching helplessly as his beloved guild was torn asunder.  I felt his humiliation as he was stripped of all authority, merely a figurehead.  The bonds that had one time brought them together as one, were now ripped and bloodied.
The unrest was felt everywhere, in the streets of Temauir.  A beast would soon be let loose
Than the unthinkable happened.  My father was arrested and thrown into a Loures dungeon.  His crime -- begging against the exile of a beloved guild member.
I stood with my mother as we watched my father, shackled and bruised, as he was taken away from us.  My mother collapsed with the fear of never seeing her beloved husband again in this world.
It was than that my childhood was taken from me, and my destiny was layed out before me
With the aid of myself, my Uncle Sylvus,  and some members still loyal to my father, we managed to break him from his prison. Our lives, the lives of my family,  were now at the mercy of others .
We went into hiding as we were being sought for exile and most likely death.
It was during those long and lonely nights spent hidden away that the plan to take back our Family's Guild was formed.
Secretly, we put our plan into action......

In the days that followed, we watched the fall of Tempest as it once stood.  The old ways and old guard were gone.  The former leaders had fled, Tempest was in my family's leadership once again.
The guild charter was drawn up and reborn.
We swore, through tears of pride, that never again would Tempest fall victim to the tyranny of one or the influence of forces.  My family's vision was a free Tempest.  A gathering place for friends and family to celebrate their lives in peace. Never again would one individual be given the power to dominate the lives of so many.  The role of leadership would be to guide through inspiration but never rule by the fist.  To love Tempest and it's members more than ones self

That vision stands true to this day

The leadership has now passed down to me. .....
" I vow, by all that is true, that I will keep and cherish  the Spirit that is Tempest as it was meant to be."

Leader of Guild Tempest

Tempest was formed in the twenty-third Deoch by my mother and father, Rosemay and Menikmati and some companions.  Together with the band of brothers they came together  to stand equal but united, members and leadership alike.  Being still a child at this time my recollections are reliant on my impressions and my parent's memory.  The early days were sweet with promise for the young guild.  The men and woman, many being warriors at heart, thrilled at the hunt or bettering each other in the labyrinths.  The joy of being united with friends and family was the strength of Tempest.  It was a happy and exciting time.
But this  time of Light was not to last.

We Are One
"As the men returned from the fighting and the land was once again at peace, the time was right to gather and unite"
The History of Tempest
The one that had been appointed Guild Leader,  led the guild down the path of destruction.  As absolute power corrupts absolutely, the floodgates had been opened.
It would only be after many deochs had passed that the truth of what caused these noble and trusted men to turn against each other would come to light.
