This is a brief history of Lothlorien. It's brief because the site hasn't been up very long, but at least it's something. <^_^> This is mostly written by Arwen, and I feel like referring to myself in third person in this, so don't get confused.
Late January, 2004: Tinuviel comes up with the idea to make a Lord of the Rings fansite, she tells Arwen and Galadriel of her idea, and they offer to help. What were those 3 thinking??
February 1st, 2004: Lothlorien, Tinuviel's Lord of the Rings site, goes up. She has made the "layout" herself, but it is little more than a slow-loading wallpaper on Pagebuilder.
February 6th, 2004: Arwen first lays eyes on Lothlorien. After a feable attempt at an update on Pagebuilder, Arwen sets to work at making a layout that is pure HTML.
February 7th, 2004: Arwen puts up the HTML layout, version 1.0. Tinuviel begins to worship Arwen as a goddess of HTML code. Site is now navagatable and organized (Which is weird, because Arwen is a very disorganzied person, just see the inside of her backpack!)
February, 2004: Various updates, mostly from Arwen and Tinuviel. Galadriel makes her first appearance on February 20th, but she doesn't update often.
March 1st, 2004: Lothlorien turns one month old. Nothing that special happens.
March 18th. Lothlorien's second layout goes up. This one is made by Tinuviel, and it very good for a first attempt. Way to go Tinuviel!!
September 12th. Arwen puts up version 3.0: Grey Skies. Tinuviel again worships her as a goddess. Arwen starts to like such treatment... Just kidding.
OKay, that's the basic synopsis of what has gone on here in the Tree City lately. Not a lot, but hey, that's more than I thought I would get out of a few month's worth of work!! <^_^>.
I don't own Lord of the Rings. The books and movies are property of J.R.R. Tolkien, New Line Cinema,
and all other respective owners. I only run this web site, and make no money whatsoever from this site. All
images are from various parts of the internet, and if I remember where an image is from, I will give credit
to that site.
