Texas is a big, fat myth and we live with that every day. Sometimes it requires navel gazing, sometimes howling laughter, often a tear or two. Figuring out who is a Texas is even tougher. Dubya was born in Connecticut and spent much of his life in D.C. before his handlers bought that TV location in Crawford. Ike is from here, but nobody seems to know it.
