[ the cure ] ~ the drowning
man
~ a
truly beautiful song, I have quoted the lyrics in
my poetry section, I do suggest you go and read
them as the song is so beautiful.
[
nine inch nails ] ~ Something I can never have ~
The song that always makes me cry. Haunting is
the only way I can describe this song.
[
morcheeba ] ~ The Sea ~ I know it's trip hop
but this song makes me feel so relaxed and calm
[
misery loves co. ] ~ Damage Driven ~ One of
my scary depressive moods is perfectly fitted to
music in this song.
[
david bowie ] ~ Life on Mars ~ Reminds me of
when we all used to sing along to this in art
classes
[
tool ] ~ Sober ~ A song about many drunken
nights spent destroying a good relationship on my
behalf.
[
skunk anansie ] ~ Brazen ~ Another one of
those "bad memory" songs, but I still
love this song because it personifies many
emotions I had running through me last year
[
sting ] ~ When We Dance ~ One of the most
beautiful songs ever written.
[
silverchair ] ~ Tomorrow ~ A great wail along
song. Reminds me of my first serious
relationship.
[ hole ] ~ Doll Parts ~ I love this song
because it just cracks me up completely, Courtney
Love can't even change chords whilst singing on
this track.
[ metallica ] ~ Enter Sandman ~ a
fantastic song I love to play on my guitar.
[ guns n roses ] / [ rolling stones ] ~
sympathy for the devil ~ I can't decide which
version I like better, the original stones
version or the G n' R version. But this song is
brilliant and I love it when G n'R play it at the
end of Interview with the Vampire, it's just
perfect!
[ rage against the machine ] ~ wake up ~ a
great song for listening to whilst storming down
streets wearing a big trench coat. As I do. A
great use of the Zepplin classic Kashmir as well.
