Readying your character(back) Now you have to get ready for some combat. Open the inventory and your wear view and equip the gun and chest armor. You also have a healing nano crystal in your inventory, but your current skills are too low to upload it. Try right click it and you'll see. Next close your inventory, open the skill view and increase all your abilities (strenght to psychic) as much as possible. You'll need the bonuses to be as efficient as possible in combat right now. Also increase your Body Development (Abilities group), Pistol (Ranged group), Ranged Initiative and Evade Close Combat (Speed group), as much as possible. Now, go to the Nano & Aiding group and increase your Biological Metamorphosis skill to 10. You will now be able to upload your nano crystal. (Matter Metamorphosis was increased to 7 as a result of increased intelligence.) Select 'accept', open your inventory again and upload the nano crystal. As the programs view open, move the nano icon to the 'favorites' group. Close the inventory and wear view again. Open the stats view and adjust the aggression bar to the aboslute right to attack faster. Now open your map view. The exits to omni Forest will be visible to the upper and lower right on the map. Move around a bit to get comfortable with the controls, then find your way to one of the exits. (Hit backspace to toggle run / walk). |
