SECTION VII: Rules for Play with Stand-Alone Expansion Sets
Arena leagues sponsoring this play type (such as Ice Age only), will
use the Arena-The League for Magic Standard
Floor Rules, and the Arena-The League for Magic Rules
for Constructed-Deck Formats, except for the following additions and
modifications:
1. All league decks may only be constructed using Magic: The Gathering
cards from the specified stand-alone expansion (or a stand-alone expansion
set and its limited-edition expansion set(s)), with the exception of basic
land cards from any edition of Magic: The Gathering. Use of any card
that is not from the specified stand-alone expansion, with the exception
of basic land cards, will be interpreted by the official as a Declaration
of Forfeiture.
2. Any cards appearing on the Type II Banned List
from the stand-alone expansion set are banned from this play format.
3. Any cards appearing on the Type II Restricted
List from the stand-alone expansion set are banned from this play format.
