SECTION V: Type II Rules
Type II Arena leagues will follow the Arena-The League for Magic
Standard Floor Rules, and the Arena-The League
for Magic Rules for Constructed-Deck Formats
except for the following additions and modifications:
1. Type II league decks may be constructed from Magic: The Gathering
cards from the most current edition of the basic set, any current expansions
of the basic set, and all limited-edition expansions which are currently
available. Cards from previous printings that appear in the most current
edition are allowed. All cards in the Type II league deck must have identical
card back design.
