| Text: | Integrated Principles of Zoology 12th Edition, Hickman, Roberts and Larson, McGraw Hill 2001 |
| In consideration of time, part one and part two in this text offers an opportunity for students to look over and review a condensed introductory course like "Principles of Biology" to help fill any background information that may be needed in preparation for this course. | |
| Laboratory Text: | General Zoology 12th Edition, Lytle, McGraw Hill, 2000 |
| Considerable thought has been given to what a General Zoology course actually should include. Out of necessity and due to the varied backgrounds of the student population, limitations of time and facilities, some of the minor phyla have been limited. To facilitate the exploration of systematics, a discussion of the organism's niche, habitat, and life cycle is provided in a comparative approach. It is strongly suggested that students enrolled in General Zoology have a strong background in Biology. | |
