Now put the 4EFTE into the GP Turbo Body and you have a 100kw Twin-cam Turbo 16 valve later model engine, with much more engine development history then a 3ETE. BUT! Don't assume that the 3ETE is lesser of an engine then the 4EFTE, just have a look at some of the 3ETE powered Tercel's in the United States of America. This may be a bit of a suprise but the locals in Australia are getting very serious with the 3ETE engine and there are rumours floating around that the 3ETE can produce 250hp with the right mods, not bad for a 1.5ltr.
I will look into both engines in more detail in the future, so stay tuned.
