Our Current Stock
The company has already acquired various items of stock which we intend to use at Cynheidre. All items except Steam loco 1498 storage at tour Cynheidre base, until such time as they are required.
The freight vehicles are intended to form a demonstration freight train. |

This locomotive No. 1498 is named 'Desmond' and was kindly donated to us by the National Museums and Galleries of Wales, Cardiff. Many thanks are expressed to all concerned by this kind gesture. This loco is a long term restoration project and was moved to the Llangollen Railway, North Wales in May 2006. |

project. The project will also use the involvement of school children from the Llanelli and Llangollen areas in order to involve local communities. We must express our thanks to the HLF for this generous grant which ensures that 'Desmond' will steam once again. |

This is to become our on-site caf� until the main heritage centre is constructed within the next few years. The coach incorporates disabled access together with wheelchair adaptation.
The cost was covered by an extremely kind donation from the road building company Costain. Many thanks go to Costain for their assistance in the acquisition of this coach. |
