ROBERTSON
FAMILY
My Robertson family is very large...2
great-grandparents, 16 aunts and uncles, 40 grandchildren, and (about)
29 great-grandchildren. Although we are spread across the United States
and it's difficult to get together, the Robertson family does the
following to stay together:
Visits to Grandma & Grandpa's house.
Everyone is welcome at the grandparents' house in Gilbert, AZ. They
don't have a pool anymore, but people collect still there. No
wonder--who wouldn't feel jolly around those two?
Birthday cards from the grandparents.
Grandma Robertson hasn't missed a beat with her "Grammajane" creations
for the family's birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and new
arrivals. They also buy a set of silverware for every grandchild's
marriage--a great tradition.
Provo family reunion. In 2002, Jim and Judy
Robertson began annual reunion every 4th of July weekend. Activities
have included BBQ, swimming, homemade ice cream, chocolate
taste-testing, hiking Mt. Timpanogos, watching the fireworks from the
roof, and of course, TALKING. It has grown every year.
