BOSEN FAMILY
My Bosen family is small and
young, but neat! There are 2 grandparents, 5 aunts and uncles, 12
grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. We have a wide range of talents,
being the children of an engineer and a creative, orderly mother.
Family
reunions. We have a family reunion whenever we decide to or for a
special occasion. In 2002, Grandma reminded us constantly, a year
beforehand, that attendance at their 50th anniversary in Park City was
mandatory, and guess what? We were all there, and had a spectacular
time!
Finances. The grandparents have helped each grandchild start a
longterm investment account, growing it at birthdays and Christmas.
Heirlooms. Grandma traditionally makes each grandchild a gorgeous
handmade quilt for their wedding. Her mother was a quilt maker, too, and
Grandma has taught her 3 daughters and 3 granddaughters to sew.
Sharing Pictures. Many of our family members own PhotoParade (TM), a
program that creates a picture slideshow with captions that we email to
each other. Even if we don't often meet together, we keep up with each
other by sharing photos of major events.
Genealogy. Our family knows a great deal of our genealogy. We
actively search out more ancestors, sometimes even traveling to Scotland
to find out information! We also compile personal histories. Everyone
contributes to perform temple work in their behalf.
