I find private instruction to be the most effective way work with students on their dance, where through a progressive series of classes, 100% of the time is dedicated to that person and his/her needs. Students tend to improve very quickly when the instruction is taylored specifically to what they need on that day in that moment.
My teaching approach is based on not changing the core of the person's dance, but rather meeting it where it is and working from it in order to express it with greater joy and ease. As a follower who leads, I provide a unique perspective on both sides of tango. Being informed in many other movement modalities, my instruction is based on a solid understanding of the body, the movement, as well as the body/mind connection and dynamics.
