| Literary Nymphs Review Policy Updated November 22, 2005 Authors seeking a review- please read the following Code of Ethics before inquirying about a review. Once a review is written for your submission, be aware that it will be posted unless there is found some breach of these ethics within the respective reviewer's critique. Literary Nymphs does accept subsidy and self-published manuscripts for review, as long as these are available for purchase either at the author's website or somewhere else online. Please note that while we make every effort to find a reviewer for each e-book or manuscript accepted, there are times when our reviewers simply have all the work load they can handle. By submitting any e-book or manuscript there is no guarantee that a reviewer will be available. Code of Ethics Literary Nymphs Reviews is dedicated to presenting objective and fair reviews to all accepted manuscripts, without personal remarks about any author or publisher. Our goal is to critique by content and quality of the manuscripts submitted without scathing commentaries. We are not here to serve the interests of any other entity or persons besides the potential reader. In this effort we will avoid bias for or against any publisher, cover style and in the matter of erotic works, without stipulation that any work of literature MUST contain vulgar language or "dirty" words to constitute being erotica. Such language is appropriate depending on the writer's style or reader's preference, but not a requisite. It is our philosophy that erotica stems from the name Eros, Who is a god of love and sensuality- things which are expressed in different ways by different writers. Authors- We've all come across so-called reviews which are nothing more than someone's attempt to bash a book they just didn't like or just didn't comprehend. And while not every book submitted to our site for review will walk away with the highest rating, we consider the practice of bashing any book or author unethical. Thus, in the unlikely event that none of our reviewers can find something positive to say about your submitted work, we will not post a review of it, plain and simple. Our Rating System 5 Nymphs- An outstanding read. The reviewer found this book a credit to it's genre 4 Nymphs- An impressive read. Quality literature, recommended for anyone who enjoys the genre(s) 3 Nymphs- An enjoyable read 2 Nymphs- This book was readable, but not without it's flaws 1 Nymph - The reviewer wasn't personally impressed with this book, although it might find interest with readers of the genre |
