When their two worlds collide, Thea is rounded up as part of Blade's cargo. She's sentenced to life on Jupiter, a life of marriage or sexual servitude her only options. But Blade sees things in Thea that he's never found in another prostitute. Honor. Courage. Strength. Determination to beat him, no matter the cost, no matter the odds stacked against her.
Blade's admiration quickly turns to lust. That's all his let it be. Blade's Decree published by Changeling Press is the first in the Bonds of Justice series. Blade and Thea have a chemistry that few couples can produce. Both tough and hardened by life, they manage to steal each other's hearts without weakening the spirit that houses them. It's a delicate balancing act, to let two such headstrong people have their own way without forcing one or the other to yield, yet Elayne Venton skillfully manages to do just that.
I strongly recommend that any reader interested in an excellent story with convincing characters and out-of-this-world sex read Blade's Decree.

Broken Rose is a collection of award-winning writings from author, Jade Blackmore. While the collection is listed as Erotic poetry, I found that the subject matter covered a lot more than poetic reveries about sexual fantasies or experiences. Blackmore�s deeply personal observations range in topics all the way from Marilyn Monroe to submissive desires. Her thoughts weave as fluently from observations about jealousy as it does to love that has moved on from the passionate to the comfortable. This particular subject is attractively contemplated in the articulate, Laundry.
The myriad of images that flow through Broken Rose are at times lovely, at times crude, and occasionally downright sentimental. The raw emotions spill out, and the language is diamond-sharp. I was especially impressed by the erotic flirtation of Born Again, and the risqu� mien of Recipe. This collection is more than erotic poetry- it is emotions and lust examined beneath a lamplight both moody and unapologetic. Jade Blackmore�s poetry isn�t for the reader with delicate tastes. But for those who enjoy spontaneous emotions voiced with a sensuous flow, her poetry will tantalize.

Sandra Castilla worked as a secretary at NYU and was engaged to marry a very nice guy and lived a normal if not somewhat boring life. Then Sandra has a dream about her sister Jaycee. In the dream Sandra sees Jaycee brutally murdered. Sandra felt as if she was inside Jaycee looking out though her eyes. She could feel every blow as the man kicked Jaycee. She heard him as he called Jaycee names and ignored her pleas to stop. Sandra tried to look up so she could see the man�s face, but couldn�t. She didn�t understand why she couldn�t. She felt the pain and fear from Jaycee, as well as the last breath her sister would ever take.
Shaken to the core, Sandra didn�t know what to do. Scott tried to calm her down, but nothing would do except to go to Hollywood Fl. and find out what happened to her sister. Sandra knew in her heart Jaycee was dead and she would find out who did it and make him pay. If only she could have seen more than just the killer�s feet, she�d have something to go on.
Upon arriving in Florida Sandra finds no traces of her sister. Jaycee�s home has been put up for rent with no forwarding address. The only lead she can find is a charge on Jaycee�s credit card to a place called The Bondage Shoppe. Sandra also found a statement from a video store saying she had late charges due. The Executioner, Wet Heat and Slave Labor, what kind of movies was her sister watching? They sure didn�t sound like anything Jaycee would have watched. What had Jaycee gotten herself into?
With no more clues then the receipts, Sandra decides to go to the store and there she meets Jorge. Sandra finds out that Jorge knows Jaycee, and that she�d been to several parties involving BDSM. Sandra couldn�t believe what Jorge was telling her. Jaycee into bondage, what had her sister been doing? Jorge said she had hooked up with a group called the Talean, and they were bad news. He told Sandra that they were into slavery and when someone disobeyed, they were known to punish severely by torture, starvation even death. Jorge tries to change Sandra�s mind, but nothing will stop her from finding out what happened to her sister.
Sandra had heard about BDSM and she just couldn�t imagine Jaycee getting involved with that kind of group. With Jorge�s help Sandra joins a BDSM training course. What Sandra finds will change everything she�s ever believed in. Sandra will discover a side of herself she never knew existed. She will also find the man of her dreams. But is he also the man responsible for Jaycee�s death?
This is the first book I�ve read containing BDSM. What I discovered was a love story just as real as any way of life and love. What I saw develop between Nicco and Sandra was every bit as beautiful and passionate as any love story I�ve read in other genre�s. This story is very well written and I couldn�t put it down once I started reading. It�s full of action and danger and I gained a better insight into the lives of Dominant verses Submissive better know as BDSM. I realized as I read this story that it was about discovery as Sandra opens up to her true nature. I expected more pain in the book, but there wasn�t any. What I found was a story about true love and complete trust of one another. What Nicco and Sandra find is truly magical. I recommend this love story highly to all who enjoy the many facets of the human nature and love, as well as a great suspense story. BE sure to get your copy when available. Enjoy!
