Easily the most renowned of all Cathedrals in Goa. This is the resting place of St. Francis Xavier, kept in miraculously immaculate condition for centuries. His body is brought down in its golden casket on the 3rd of December for all to venerate. Legend has it requests offered on this day are always heeded.
