My interests are highly varied & I live for anything that
seems challenging.
 | Programming - I love C++
programming & occasionally experiment with x86 assembly. Currently
engrossed with Windows system programming ... the fun never stops !

In my spare time I'm working on an ATL based Messaging
application using windows sockets, intended to help teams communicate
seamlessly in real time across corporate locations.

- I've learnt a lot from & have also contributed to the MSVC
List, my favorite hang out. If your' into C++, ATL, COM, Windows
Systems, MFC, C++ Database programming, subscribe & challenge yourself by
helping fellow programmers with their programming problems. Its also a great
way of keeping up with the legions of MSVC greats !

| System Design - From helping
friends wanting to do their "own thing" ~something like a
no-charge consultant :-) ~ to designing 3-tier scalable architectures for TIL,
this leverages my programming expertise perfectly !

| Business - A strange interest
for a techie ? Oh no, I dream of starting my own venture ... that day will
come. Hence the interest in International Finance & Money Markets, ADR's,
GDR's, Taxation, favorable markets for entrepreneurs.

| Trekking - The ideal escape
from the city traffic jams & crowds. A comfy pair of shoes, backpack
& off we go to discover new destinations !

| Photography - From clicking
pics with my snazzy Kodak KE-60, to mastering my dads German made fully
manual Exakta VX-1000, I've a long way to go here.

| Reading - I'm a voracious
reader devouring books & learning in the
process. My latest passion ? Design Patterns.

| Computer Hardware - Partly
education & mainly techno-enthusiasm has driven me to the very innards
of computers, the sole motivation being to know "what's goin' on under
the hood" & optimizing these amazing machines. DMA, IRQ conflicts,
Swap files, File System's, Partitioning, Motherboards, Graphics cards,
CPU's, Display & Disk Drive technologies... starting from the humble
Intel 8080.

| Electronics - A qualified Electronics
Engineer, I'm an electronics enthusiast. I've built an AM Radio, an
AM/FM radio transmitter, cool sounding oscillators, amplifiers, sadly I dont
get time for that now :-( I also love tinkering with Audio/ Video systems
& wound up repairing my JVC VCR when it conked off, an STK5481 Power Regulator
did the trick. :-)

Handheld & Wearable gizmos, amazing software with far-reaching
applications, I'm a hardcore techie.
