The monk (sorry can't remember his name) discovers that Byakko no Miko's grave was disppearing... so was Genbu no Miko's... it seems like their existence was quickly vanishing... as if they never existed. He informs Tetsuya and Keisuke about it. Does that mean Miaka and Yui are going to disappear also...?

Back to Tamahome, the girl who calls Tamahome "Nagako" was Kaen, she has similar power as Soi. Tamahome was traumatized when he saw the blue character "shin' on his forehead, instead of red character "oni". "shin" was Nagako's character... and Kaen keeps on calling him "Nagako sama". Tamahome asks Kaen what was going on. She tells him that Tamahome was actually the reincarnation of Nagako. When Nagako was defeated by Tamahome, he falls asleep, and was incarnated, yet his memory was switched with Tamahome's. She wants to help him gain back his memory and "seek peace" with him.

To prove her loyalty, she put some kind of powder in the water telling Tamahome that the powder was a medicine that'll help his wound. She drank the medicine first, to show Tamahome that it wasn't poison. Then she started crying. Tamahome takes up the medicine and drank it.

That night when Tamahome was asleep, Kaen came and undress herself... eh... not for kids... but Tamahome tells her to go away. Soon a bunch of bandits came and attack Tamahome.

He runs outside and finds the leader of the bandits. He ask them why they want him dead, the leader accuses him to be the one who killed Tasuki and who destroyed they home. He wanted revenges. As the guy jumps to attack Tamahome, Tamahome reaches out his hand to tell him to stop... a blue ki came out of him palm and shot the leader. As he bleeds he tells Tamahome that he was Nagako alright, telling him that he had blue eyes, golden hair... and he shall bring him to hell with him! He light an explosive. Yet... that didn't kill Tamahome... but his last words affected Tamahome... he finally believed that he was Nagako.

He walks towards Kaen and ask her to bring some sake. She replies, and we see her real face as TOMO! He replies that he will bring the sake with kodoku in it. (kodoku is some sort of poison that will keep the victim in their own illusion.)

In the meanwhile we see Chichiri... and Tasuki walking down the road, Chichiri says that he sensed Tamahome's chi. And they should hurry.

Miaka's side, Yui has been ill. She was alone at home, and she was glowing with green light. She opens her eyes, it was green, we find Shijin TenchiSho under her bed, she head toward it.

Miaka came to visit Yui, and she finds the book on the floor... she immediately decided to go find Yui and Tamahome. On the other hand we see Amiboshi as Kaika working in the farm. When he was done working he hears Suboshi, his twin brother calling for him. He asked Amiboshi to lend him his body, Yui sama is reappearing! Chichiri and Tasuki meets up with Suboshi, and Tomo appears... with Yui as a new Genbu no Seishi... He said he was revived when Seiryuu was summoned, and using his Shin he still has connection with Miaka and Yui's world.
