Wind power is derived through turbines that are placed out in a field so when the wind hits the turbines then they move and produce electricity. Wind's energy popularity is growing because of it's many benefits. Mankind has been using wind power since the early days of when windmills were created to crush wheat into flour.

Wind energy that is generated is pollution free electricity, and it is a steay and abundant source. The wind turbines used only occupy at most 5% of the farmers land leave much space needed for planting and other land uses. Most of these wind turbines are located in the great plains which is a major source of wind activity.

The only downside is depending on the wind if it comes to power the turbines because it is not always windy.

Wind Energy is very cheap and cost effective. In fact wind generated electricity will ocst as little as $.025K/wh in some locations which is very cheap.

Wind power could be very useful in other countries. If they can't do anything with thier land they can put these cost effecient wind turbines there and have a reliable renewable energy soirce.
Above are wind turbines in use and below the inside and how the wind turbine runs/works.
