Out on the sea on a blistery night
the wind was blowing with all it's might.
The disciples they were terrified,
Master, Master save us they cried.

He spoke to the storm,and the sea became smooth,
Who else can make storms their fury loose?
Perhaps today the Lord is trying to say,
Why don't more people take time to pray?


We trust snow blowers,and large snow plows,
But human efforts fail, if its drifted for miles.
The Lord's in command of all of the land,
That is why when we obey Him, life can be grand.


Jonah in the bible caused a great storm,
Because he would not obey God, and the Ninevites warn.
Are we spreading the gospel, do others hear the good news?
Or will we be to blame, if there soul they should lose?


There is only one who is always the same,
He is willing to help,  if we call on his name.
Life will have some heartaches,  trials and storm,
But faith in our savior keeps us steadfast and warm.

And you cant get to shore no matter how hard you try.
In fact you keep drifting don't do anything,
Then the Devil becomes your earthly king.
No thought of your future and judgment day.
When Jesus may have to turn you away.
It will hurt when he looks at you
And tells you that life is no more.

To move up stream you dont go alone,
You depend on the Lord. He will get you home.
Oh higher ground you will stand.
Then all is well, and your soul's secure.
Just make some stops along the way,
To reach for your Bible and take time to pray.
Then God will have you by the hand.
And you will live in the promised land.
With Love and happiness you will see,
That Jesus Christ loves you eternally.
