| A piece I wrote for Hamlet, in the role of Claudius And now I see everything unraveling around me. All my hope and plots have disappeared. The exit is blocked. I cannot get out of it now. I have wandered far too deep. Look at where its got me. My greatest fear has arisen. And there doesnt seem to be any stopping it. Hamlet is going to overcome me, and I have nothing to defend myself with. The dark is consuming me, a fear is overcoming me. I can feel the weight of what I have done on my shoulders, it is crushing me. The events are caving in, my supports have given out. I am about fall. Creative piece about the cultural revolution The sun is shining but I cannot feel its warmth. A lifeless body lies before me. Memory loss at its peak, uneventful actions, thoughts of suicide. Aurora borealis is shining brightly. Thoughts of the past, a culture forgotten, destroyed. A revolution that takes place, guns and tanks are used, to conquer and overthrow. Centuries of history are wiped out in mere months. In villages above snow, in view of the eclipse, traditions are never forgotten. Under the starry skies, unforgettable wandering through desert palms, lies the ghosts of the past. Their wandering breath collectively reaching those that strain to listen. And though everything seems to be against it. A new dawn arises each day. Once again, shedding light amongst the shadows. |
