| More about us... Like most young and aspiring organizations, Life 4 Water, started without fund supports from external donors. It draw out financing donations coming from its members. It survived its first two years (2003-2005) of operation without external supports. But L4W believes that in due time funding supports will start to pour in as soon as the organization builds credibility. At the onset, Life 4 Water still relies on their paid services for its operation. The little amount they earn from the sales their fabricated hydraulic ram and water consultancy services, they used it to counterpart for small (but high impact) community water projects pro bono. Collaboration with local non-government organizations (NGO) and peoples organizations (PO) as well as with local government units (LGU) proves to be very effective as it lessens the burden in financing community water projects. Most often L4W develops water projects for the above organizations and in turn, L4W is partnered for the subsequent construction. |
