PLG NEWS***Membership Renewal*** The new year is upon us and the time for membership renewal is here! With your funds we have established this web presence, purchased an OPAC system, put together promotional literature for Pagan Pride day events and brought instructional training in library services to Pagan organizations all over the Mid-Atlantic region. Your continued support of the Pagan Library Guild is vital for us to continue to do the valuable work that we're doing to support the information needs of the Pagan Community. Please take the opportunity between now and January 31st to renew your membership to the PLG. Renewal is quick and simple. Just go to our joining the guild page and select the proper membership level for you or your organization. Please note that we still have not corrected the errors to the membership database yet. Once you register, please send an email with the contact information listed at the bottom of the "Join" page to: [email protected]. Thanks! **PUCK News** Major News in the PUCK program. Librarycom, our current OPAC provider for the project is migrating their service to libraryworld.net which has new features, more storage space, a serials function, and better import/export function from the Library of Congress. We'll be putting together a meeting date in January to demo the new software and discuss our plans for migration. We've also made substantial progress on the data entry side of this project as well. To date we have now entered 143 records from 2 of the sponsoring libraries, with new records being added every month. Great job guys! Also, we have finally posted the link to the catalog on the PUCK page. Go check it out people! There's not a lot of material in there, but it's going to grow a little bit every day, we promise. **Board Positions Still Open** Though our secretary position has been filled, we still require a treasurer, and the time is coming for this to be extra-critical.
