Mission Statement:
Lichfield School and its Board of Trustees will provide for its children, an education which will equip them with the skills to reach their highest potential as
citizens of New Zealand.  We believe that it is our
responsibility to assist each child to develop to his or her fullest -  intellectually, physically, culturally,
socially and emotionally.

Lichfield Cathedral, England -  Lichfield, New Zealand, was named after this cathedral city.  The orginal plans for Lichfield (NZ) show street layouts with provision for a similar type of cathedral.
