Room 3

Mrs Addison and Mrs Keen teach in the Junior Room.

Room 3 have been having a look around Lichfield District and our old buildings.  They have visited Mr Lowe's house which use to be a creamery, the stone bank which used to be a church also, the old water tower by the railway tracks and the old Lichfield Bakery.
The old water tower was used to fill up the steam trains.  They thought Mr Lowe's house was really cool.  It had a very magical garden which the children played hide and go seek in.  Inside his house were some very steep stairs and the children had to use the bars to climb up.
Miss Kells, who was one of the first teachers at Lichfield School had a wonderful old rocking chair and this is in Mr Lowe's house.  All the children got to have a rock in this special chair.
Edward remembers the head of the deer which was hanging up in Mr Lowe's house by the clocks.

Below we see Edward and Graydon with the beautiful
pictures they painted.  Graydon's picture has this caption
under it:
"This is the old water tower. It's over the railway line from my house.  The trains used to go there to get
water."
Edward's picture:  This is the old stone bank.  It's made out of blocks of stone."
