You Know gave a chilling but thrilling commentary on the rapid spiral of this system into chaos and anarchy as we quickly approach the end of the line. Tell him my wife loved it. That sort of oratory doesn't need an encore. Consider the tidbits of information to follow simply lightning flashes after You Know has taken his bows and the curtain has fallen.
Our brilliant son, a married software developer, posited an astonishing analogy. Suppose this system was like a giant computer with a routine at the end of the program called "EndOfSystem"? He gave the wife and I a short course on software development and explained that commands are words that run together. God's command to end this wicked system if translated into code might look something like "EndOfSystem". Not only is this very clever but an article in today's newspaper indicates there is a similar type of command embedded into this corrupt system of things! It warns "Friday date, when written in the Julian calendar used in some computer programs, reads 9999 -- a code that was used to tell some mainframe computers it was the end of the program and to shut down."
We are in central California, and in three hours from now mayhem could hit computers worldwide! Isn't it thrilling to know we are so close to the grand finale that we're about to get the equivalent of a "sneak preview"? (hehehe!)
In just over 3 hours Friday, April 9th could possibly (but I refuse to speculate) the beginning of a great tribulation no man has ever experienced in all of human history! "The Julian calendar, named after Roman Emperor Julius Caesar, puts the number of the day first -- from 1 to 365 -- followed by the last two digits of the year, in this case 99. So Friday, the 99th day of 1999, is 9999, a code that could tell some computers to shut down."
Computers are the engine of Satan's world and when they all shutdown, you might as well admit the Society was right all along. Jehovah's promises are near. Can't you smell the fresh air, hear the birds chirping, and taste the bountiful fruits of perfection? I most certainly can.
This might very well be my last posting as the computers running the internet might grind to a screeching halt at midnight. Notice I always preface with the word "might" to avoid the wanton speculation we see in Christendom? Even though we each have studied the publicatins and know perfectly well what's in store? I'm not so much trying to make liars out of or Norwegian speculators who claim we prophesy as I'm showing respect for the possibility that I'm mistaken? You Know shows humility in prefacing all his thoughts, and what a fine example. When midnight strikes and the system shutsdown it won't be because anyone "prophesied" who shouldn't have!
Just in case I don't see you until Armageddon is over, I thank ones like You Know for remaining faithful to the bitter end. Notice the "just in case" for those who claim we are prophesying when we are not. Not once did the Watchtower ever prophesy. Who are they, prophets? No, rather humble servants with unbelievable humility and patience toward those who sully their reputations.
Cordially,
Elder and Sister Donelley
