Hello again Skeptic,
> I agree VB does its job well. Alas, I worked in VB for only a few weeks. I like it, it is addictive, but I couldn't respect it. Whenever I needed to talk to hardware, a C routine had to be called. Without pointers, it is difficult to talk to hardware.
What is your opinion of Visual C++? A friend of mine raves about it, he used it last summer to control the instrumentation for an EMI chamber. All of the instruments were connected via GPIB ports. Do I understand your comment above to mean that VB does not interface well with this kind of hardware?
5GJW, bringing this on topic by asking what percentage of H2O posters are tech nerds?
