Dearest Friends, New Ones, and Sheeplike Ones!
There is a storm gaining strength on the horizon. Can you smell that oh familiar scent of rain? Can you see the winds gaining speed? Can't you sense impending doom?
These apostates are enjoying their 15 final moments of what the hippie movement dubbed "Warhol Fame." Ever read Mutiny On The Bounty? What a perfect metaphor. Our dear captain of Jehovah's ark, Milton Henschel, has come under attack! These "Reformists" are attempting mutiny for similar reasons to the wicked despots on the Bounty! That book is filled with metaphors befitting this organization and its opposers. The "whys" and "wherefores" and every sort of motivation one could easily apply to this pitifully mutinyous situation written a long time ago.
All this rebelliousness has prophetic significance dear friends of truth!
No doubt this post will threaten the very fabric of the "Reformists" and get removed. Nobody will dare allow a true Servant of Jehovah's post to stand on the proverbial rooftops and cry out the nearness of the end. Then again, You Know's ironclad arguments dealt a fatal blow to the opposition. Maybe this is, could it be, the hammering of nails into the coffin? We shall see.
I shall give you not a prophecy but merely an observation in pointing to one second before midnight of December 31st as heralding a permanent change for mankind. That second, when gone, will enter mankind into a hostile world where technology is turned against mankind. The Year 2000 Bug abbreviated "Y2K" will unleash the final death knell for this wicked system and its faithless worldlings. Should true Christians prepare for this moment? There is less than 9 months!
Watering down an old cliche, you better either bring forth the winds of fury or get off that pot! Even Christendom figured this one out. It didn't take her long to reason there is precious little time to prepare for survival of one's dearly beloved families. The message is loud and clear when even non-Witnesses such as Marvin Tarlton and his neighbors in Raleigh, N.C., are feeling an ill wind blowing from the north. "The tempest would not be wind and rain, but computer data gone haywire on New Year's Day" he said. "So his family in Marshville, a rural community 30 miles southeast of Charlotte, is stocking its farm pond with fish, buying bags of dried pinto beans and keeping 600 canning jars on hand to preserve vegetables they may have to grow."
"``Y2K may be nothing. It may be grave,'' said Gene Edwards, a Christian writer from Newnan, Ga., who just wrote a book predicting a worldwide economic depression later this year. ``The fear of it may bring this nation into a collapse.''" - http://wire.ap.org/APnews/center_story.html?FRONTID=TECHNOLOGY&STORYID=APIS6S33JEO0
"`Our philosophy is to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.' . . . American Christians who interpret scripture literally always have had a keen interest in the second coming of Jesus. Belief that the prophecy could be fulfilled soon is widespread. A 1997 Associated Press poll, for example, found nearly one in four Christian adults expect Jesus to arrive in their lifetime."
They, under Christendom's tutelage, have been lead down the garden path. Regretfully they have gone overboard in putting their trust in manmade preparations. "If the worst comes, she said, neighborhood churches will be able to give food to people who don't have cash." Can we seriously rely on neighborhood churches to help attend to our physical cash strapped needs when the tribulation begins? We, as true Christians, are led by the holy spirit eminating from none other than God's modern-day mouthpiece. Wouldn't you rather rely on them?
As the Society has brought out in its publications time and again, it is they (the Society) who are the ones the holy spirit has chosen to work through them to satisfy all your needs in such a disaster! They have further brought out that the holy spirit has abandoned modern-day Babylon the Great.
The Watchtower Society has a track record of providing aid to the needy during major crises. Don't believe it? Then ask any major humanitarian group! I challenge anyone! Write the spokespersons of major humanitarian organizations each a letter and ask, "What percentage of contribution for humanitarian aid would you estimate is given by the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society of New York, representing Jehovah's Witnesses, in times of great human suffering and disaster?"
I only ask that if you take me up on this offer you are honest when the results come in your mailbox! I mean specifically, that you will post scans of letters from each major humanitarian organization who replies on their own letterhead telling you the extent to which the Society has contributed humanitarian aid to relieve human suffering! Don't post only the one letter where someone might falsely claim the opposite of what I'm telling you. Be honest. Scan and post ALL the letters on your web site. Because I will stake my over 40 years of faithful service in God's organization that the majority if not all of those letters will speak positively of the Society's contributions to disaster relief efforts! Prove me false and I shall join you "Reformists." Shall I hold my breath? Ha!
Cordially,
Elder Donolley
