I can vouch in my family's personal disaster what our congregation did when our family lost everything from a fire, just six month after my brother comitted suicide because of the WT society. NOTHING!
The worldly
people at the corner drugstore took up a collection for our family: money, clothes, furniture and household items.
Only one sweet sister in the congregation (my boyfriend at the time mother ) took me out and bought me a dress (of course
so I could go to the meetings).
They didn't come to our aid in our disaster. That is the true test.

P.S. I remember reading a WT article that puts down worldly organizations for helping those less fortunate, and
said the best help is to give the people a WT. So I highly doubt that they contribute to worldly humanitarian aid organizations. Why don't you research this, and let us know what you find out.)
