Funny, I would have thought a long-time JW elder would have had the maturity not to fall for the latest in a long line of apocalyptic Christian writings. Y2K is merely the latest excuse, for they have latched onto other excuses in the past, only to have looked like fools afterward.
Yes, there will be Y2K problems, some of them serious in some parts of the world. No, Elder Donolley will not be affected too adversely. Will he come back and admit his mistake afterward? Of course not. How do I know? Because of this one line he said:

Anyone who can live in such a fantasy world is clearly not going to accept reality when it hits.
