Covert emailed me his and Rick's posts, and while I view both parties as friends, I have to side with Covert on this one.
If he goes, then I go. Covert expressed his position, Rick took extreme (and IMO unnecessary) offense
to it, and Covert defended himself. I appreciate Rick's longing for exterior support of certain Watchtower assertions, but both parties were equally guilty of attacking each others' character. Rick even ignored much of Covert's argument
and attacked him personally. I find no justification for that behavior.
If Rick merely gets to take a breather and Covert gets 'banished,' I'm not so sure H2O (read: "The Australian") will soon banish everyone who disagrees vocally and
vehemently with a JW's or JW reformer's position and not necessary their person.
