But that's what I get a kick out of, in cats!
They have so much "tude"!! They come struttin' into the living room, give you the once over, then lie down right in front of you and start passing judgment! "Here kitty, kitty, kitty" is met with a nonchalant, "yeah, right. I'll come over when I get around to it!"

I adore dogs, too.
Totally different sort of pet.
Goofy, clumsy, and loveable.
My last dog, a really cute half-collie, half poodle (collie looks with the poodle's ability to jump high (boing!) into the air), used to harass our big yellow tomcat. Now, my dog had a really ICE-COLD nose. My tomcat would be stretching/yawning, and my pooch couldn't resist, he just had to run up behind the cat and stick his iceberg schnozzola right into the cat's you know what under it's tail.

My cat shot off the floor, startled out of it's wits by the dog's ice cold fanny-howdie,
spun around and let the dog have it, with both front paws, one on one side of the dog's nosecone, the other on the other side of his nosecone.
Poor little dog would holler "YIPE!!"
then try to pull the butch-act on the tomcat by ggggggrrrrowling at him, right in the cat's face.

The cat, for his part, simply puffed-out his fur and would hissssss back at the dog. This face off would go on for a minute or two, until one of the animals got bored.

Anyway.
