Scenario A : The Initial Assault - Turn 5 Turn 5 
Space Wolves Turn 5 Grey Hunters pack 1 reduced to 3 members advanced towards Zoanthrope 1. Grey Hunters pack 2 and the Blood Claws advanced on the fleeing termagants. The Predator Destructor and the Long Fangs shot at Hive Tyrant 1 and killed the remaining Tyrant Guard. Grey Hunters pack 1 and 2 shot at Zoanthrope 1 but their shots could not penetrate its warp field. The plasma gun in Grey Hunter pack 2 overheated, but thankfully I made a successful roll for the armour save. The Blood Claws fired on the fleeing Termagants before charging in. Their charge broke the termagants and successfully chased it down, ending up too close to Carnifex 1. The Venerable Dreadnought remained locked in combat with Termagant brood 1. Tyranids Turn 5 Carnifex 2, Hive Tyrant 2 and its Tyrant Guards emerged from bughole 1. Carnifex 1 advanced towards the Blood Claws and Wolf Priest while Hive Tyrant 1 and its remaining Tyrant Guard advanced towards the Venerable Dreadnought. Carnifex 1 shot its barbed strangler at the Blood Claws to no effect before charging in. Carnifex 2, Hive Tyrant 2 and its Tyrant Guards shot at Grey Hunters pack 1, before charging Grey Hunter pack 2. Zoanthrope 1 wiped out Grey Hunter pack 1 with its warp blast. Carnifex 1 targeted all its attacks at the powerfist-equipped Blood Claw, taking him out with ease, leaving just one more Blood Claw and the Wolf Priest still in combat. The combined charge of Carnifex 2, Hive Tyrant 2 and its Tyrant Guards slaughtered Grey Hunters pack 2. The 2 survivors broke and fled, outdistancing the Tyranids. The Venerable Dreadnought remained locked in combat with Termagant brood 1.
