Space Wolves - Heroes

Venerable Dreadnought, Harkon Stormfist

Before his internment in a mighty dreadnought, Harkon Stormfist was the Wolf Lord of the then Thunderwolf Great Company. It was during the battle of Colux II against a mighty Ork Waargh that Harkon Stormfist was fell by the Warboss Nozbog the Great and his bodyguard of mega-armoured Orks. Separated from the main body, Harkon Stormfist fought against overwhelming odds. When the Space Wolves finally managed to clear a path to where Harkon Stormfist was fighting, they found he locked in grevious combat and greviously wounded, having slain four of the mega-armoured Orks. Enraged, the Space Wolves charged the Orks with renewed fury and slayed the wounded Warboss and his remaining bodyguard. Thus it was that the mighty Wolf Lord, Harkon Stormfist of the Thunderwolf Great Company fell on Colux II.

With his dying breath, Harkon Stormfist was interned into a mighty dreadnought that he might continue to smite the foes of the Imperium. Since then, tens of centuries have past, and Harkon Stormfist saw the rise and fall of legendary heroes of the Space Wolves. Given his exemplary record and long years of service, Harkon Stormfist was allowed to rest undisturbed in the Fang for decades, and even centuries. However, with the coming of the 13th Black Crusade, Harkon Stormfist's wisdom and might of arm was once again required, and he was awoken from his deep slumber. Once again, Harkon Stormfist stepped forth out under the bright blue sky, to lend his wisdom and might to the Ravening Jaw Great Company. In one of humanity's greatest perils, Harkon Stormfist once again stalks the war fields, bringing death to the enemies of the Imperium, as he did so centuries before.
