Wow, the previous update was exactly one month ago. Anyway, Following after the Long Fang pack, I got busy in preparation for entering a local painting competition. Seeing that it's the first painting competition I'm entering in, I pushed myself to demonstrate the extent of my current painting capabilities. Check it out! 7th January 2005 Seeing that I've finished painting my 3-men Long Fang pack, I though I should take a group shot and post it up. Check it out! 6th January 2005 Unbelievably, with my painting turbo booster activated, I finished the Pack Leader for my Long Fangs pack as well! Check it out! 5th January 2005 Guess I'm on fire these days, managed to paint up another Long Fang. And I finally succeeded on a pretty reasonable looking face after six horrendous failures! Practise does help. Check it out! 2nd January 2005 Cheers to the New Year, may my time be better spent and my life more purposeful and fruitful. Let's aim to complete my army this year... Finally finished up a Long Fang. Quite pleased with it though I feel that I've ruined the small details. Check it out. 25th December 2004 Merry Christmas! Managed to get another game down with my Space Wolves. Check it out! I've brought down the counter which used to be at the bottom of this page. A waste of time I suppose. I've been working hard on improving my painting skills and I'm currently in the process of painting up a Long Fang model. I'm more or less done with the main body. All that's left are the hands and the base and it'll be down. I'm pretty pleased with it and feel that it's better than my highlighted Blood Claw model. I'll post it up when it's done. 9th December 2004 Yet another update again within two days. I've finally put paint to brush and pushed myself to try highlighting. And finally, my first fully highlighted model is birthed! Check it out! 8th December 2004 Even though nobody visits this site but myself, it's still pretty fun to carry on updating it. I've half a mind to give the site a total revamp and use frames instead. Sigh, it's at times like this I wish I know some scripting languages like ASP or PHP... Even Java would be good... Alright, finally got my hands on the rule book and the new Space Marine codex and had some fun. I've played two games using the new rules so far and have included them under the Battle Reports section. They aren't turn by turn analysis though, no time for that. I've also tweaked a little with my list and have modified the Army section to show the evolution of my army. Thanks to these new games, I've more incentive now to paint up the rest of my army, as well as a third pack of Grey Hunters. And thanks to the new Codex, I'm itching to try my hand at creating another new Chapter too. Something similar to the Howling Griffons would be nice, I really like their Chapter colours. A lot. 3rd October 2004 Seeing that I've a little time on my hands, I've decided to make this the official main page. That just means that I spent quite a few minutes changing the url links on every page... that's 49 files which I had to edit. 21st September 2004 I felt strangely inspired last night and that sparked off a short writing spree which resulted in a short story on the Wolf Scouts. Too lazy to create a new section, I dumped it under the "Heroes" section. The story is turning out pretty long and I've only managed to write the first chapter to it. That itself took me two to three hours. It was pretty fun to do although I'm certain there are countless spelling and grammatical errors as I'm a little too lazy to proof-read it. Oh well, perhaps someday... And I've added a counter at the bottom this page to track the number of people who visit. It may be embarrassing to find out that I'm the only one... Anyway, I've decided to make this my unofficial main page. 20th September 2004 With Fourth edition just round the corner, I've decided to re-visit the website and update it a little, though for what purposes I know not since I don't think anybody drops by here by chance. Perhaps I should just slap down a counter on the site and track the number of visitors I get... Anyway, being superbly busy at this point in time, all I've done is created a little news update page which is so prevalent everywhere. It's a good place for me to ramble nonsense which nobody reads anyway. I wonder if I should close down the other sections of the site and focus exclusively on the Space Wolves section since that's all I'll be updating unless my mates have some stuff on their armies they want to put on the site. Hmmn, I'll see how things go. |
