Resources Needed
To implement the lesson, you will need access to a computer lab with internet connections. All of the information needed is available on the websites are listed under "Process". If you intend to assign PowerPoint presentations as the culminating activity, you will need computers with PowerPoint and a projector to show the final presentations.You might lecture on the basics of
International Trade using your Intro to Business or Economics textbook
before beginning this activity to give the students some basic
background or ask the students to read the appropriate
chapter(s). The two textbooks that I am currently using are
Prentice Hall's Economics:
Principles in Action and Thomson Southwestern's Intro to Business. Glencoe/McGraw-Hill's
Introduction to Business also
has a few chapters on the global economy.
