TOP NEWS OF THE WEEK: David Bowie recorded five new tracks as he planned follow-up album to Blackstar
David Bowie was planning another album and had recorded five new songs before his death, his producer has revealed.
Theater of the mind, general psychosis, weird creative material from a semi-successful creative writer and voice actor. My name is Luke Gordon and I try to put truth and creativity together. I've got classic audio, side-splitting radio bits, art for sale, news-of-the-week, fun writing, and I'll even throw some ironclad wisdom in there every now and then.

I enjoy quality lo-fi music for the same reason I enjoy a low-rent apartment; if it has charm, it also has appeal in my mind. I’ve been paying particular attention to the music of Lauren Hoffman, a ridiculously underrated singer/songwriter for years now and was excited to learn that she formed a new band called The Secret Storm. My one consistent complaint about Hoffman’s tunes is that, vocally, she can sound a little flat here and there. But that’s not a problem with this song, The Dragon from the EP of the same name. Ms. Hoffman, I don’t know what inspired you to write this song but I’ll take another ten of this kind of darksome, sexually magnetic and well-executed sound. Actually, just release another full-length album with songs that sound exactly like this. I’ll spot you a fiver for the studio time, and all you have to do is write the music and sing. Press play, dear listener and enjoy the sounds of what may very well be one of the most underrated lady singers of all time.
There is simply no denying the gravitas that David Bowie generated in his nearly 50 year career! God speed into the here after, Mr. Bowie!!!
