Message from
the LNSA President and CEO
To my fellow
officers and members:
For more than four years of its existence in Colegio de San Juan de Letran-Calamba as a
recognized student organization, having its own
website is a dream come true for LNSA. Thanks to
the advancement of technology that we are given
such an opportunity to be recognized through the
World Wide Web.
It never came to my mind that I would be
re-entering the world of school politics when I
enrolled in the BSN program of Letran-Calamba.
For almost fourteen years of my stay in the
Colegio, I had this realization that becoming a
student leader does not only provide the
opportunity to be distinguished from other
students, but it also gives the task of guiding
them in achieving an established goal.
With my assumption in the
office of President and Chief Executive Officer,
I cannot help to but face the reality that by
accepting this position, I have to confront yet
another tough challenge in my college life.
Aside from excelling in my academics, the
responsibility of leading the students
and to implement activities that will be beneficial
to all members of the association, are now
placed on my shoulders.
Nevertheless, I consider myself privileged with this kind of
duty. Becoming a student leader has given me the advantage
of being prepared in
entering the corporate world, especially in my
chosen career. I know for the fact that aside
from promoting the health of an individual and
assisting sick clients to their fast recovery,
leadership and management are also vital in the
nursing profession. Nurses work and collaborate
together as a health team to render the best and
most efficient care for their patients.
The goal of making Letran Nursing Students'
Association as one of the leading organization
in the Colegio is a commitment, especially for
my colleagues in the Executive Board. However,
it cannot be denied that amidst the promotions
that we conduct, a number of nursing students
are still unfamiliar on some information
regarding the association. With the aid of this
website, it is now possible for all members to
be
cognizant of the association.
May we all stay in our commitment in preserving
the prestige of our association as well as the
noble profession of Nursing. Arriba Letran!
