Character Decks
These are the type of decks the people play on the TV Show.
Yugi's deck:
Yugi's deck, I don't like it, after a while it gets boring but its good. He always some cards that can help him out for a few turns when he needs it like Magical Hats and Swords of Revealing Light. He has got some powerful cards too like Summoned Skull, Dark Magician, and some others.
Joey's deck:
I like this deck much better then Yugi's. Joey's deck focus's on Warrior & Beast-Warrior monsters. Joey has a few non-warrior creatures though like Red Eyes Black Dragon. And has some good cards to steal from his opponents like "Copy Cat". That card allows you to copy a monster your opponent had. And just has a lot of ggod monster cards.
Mai's deck:
Mai only plays the Harpie Lady and Harpie's Pet dragon. And because Harpie Lady isnt too powerful(ATK/1400 DEF/1300), she has a lot of power-up cards with it. And of course, Harpie Pet Dragon(ATK/2000 DEF/2500) is already awsome, the pet dragon gets a additional 300/300 for every Harpie Lady out on the arena. And just incase Mai needs some backup help, she has mirror wall. Whenever a opponent attacks, the attacking creature's attack is cut in half by Mirror wall and that makes them weak enough for Mai's monsters to beat them.
Seto Kaiba's deck:
All about power!! Seto's deck is mostly on powerful creatures like Blue Eyes White Dragon, Blue Eyes Ultra Dragon, La Jinn, Saggi the Dark Clown(with Negative Energy, triples his attack.) and so on. You mostly get the point if I just say about powerful monsters.
Max. Pegasus's deck:
Hard to explain, well, he likes to play toon cards like Blue Eyes Toon Dragon, Manga Ryu-Ran, and Toon Summoned skull. And he also has a Relinquished which can absorb 1 opponents monster every turn so Relinquished has that monsters ATK and DEF. And if it gets attacked, the absorbed monster dies, not Relinquished.
Bakura's Deck:
His deck is about Effect cards. The first episode you see him duel, every monster is a effect monster like: White Magical Hat, Morphing Jar, and so on. But he likes to play a Change of Heart. It allows you to take control of an enemy's monster for 1 turn. Thats his favorite card.
Rex Raptor's Deck:
This guy is cool. I like him a lot, anyways, his deck is all about Dinosaur cards. Its kind of like Joey's deck, high power monsters. He has some awsome cards in it like Two-Headed King Rex, and he use to have a Red Eyes Black Dragon until he lost to Joey in a duel. Rex offered his Red Eyes and Joey offered his Time Wizard, and Joey won so he got Rex's Red Eyes and got to keep his Time Wizard too.
Weevil Underwood's deck:
Insects. His deck focus's on insect cards. He has a real powerful card in it called "Great Moth(ATK/2600 DEF/2200)" but it costs a few turns to play but worth it.
